Assistantships & Fellowships

Assistantships and fellowships are available for students seeking a PhD or MS degree. The Graduate School administers Board of Regents and University Fellowships. Visit the Tuition & Funding subpage of the Graduate School Admissions web page for more information.. Both are generally renewable for four years. The Department also awards assistantships. In addition, all fellows and assistants receive a waiver of tuition and some fees; and fellows have priority for low-cost university housing. Summer support is generally available.
