Good news from the MAA sectional meeting!

A large group from our department attended the Louisiana Mississippi MAA Section Meeting at Northwestern State University in Natchitoches on 3-5 March 2022.

Two of our undergraduate students did well in the integration bee. Jacob Matulevich placed second in the integration bee and Scott Whitman placed third!

Bailey Meche, Logan Richard, John Heying, and Bryan Flores represented us in the team competition.
Our graduate student Arindam Sutradhar gave a talk titled K1 injectivity of the Paschke Dual algebra.
