Mathematics graduate student Joshua Caleb Macdonald received special recognition for his contributed presentation, Modeling COVID-19 outbreaks in United States with distinct testing, lockdown speed and fatigue rates, to the Mathematical Epidemiology section of the 2021 Society for Mathematical Biology Annual Meeting. The meeting, organized by the University of California, Riverside, was held virtually on June 13 - 17, 2021.
