Come meet Dr. George Turcu of our mathematics department. You will find out more about what makes a mathematician tick. In addition to learning about Dr Turcu's person likes and pursuits he give you some insight into research in mathematics (you may have some misconceptions about this -- find out!). He will also discuss some of the challenges and rewards of teaching mathematics.
This is not just a lecture. This is a chance to interact so bring your questions!
