Our professors and students explore a broad range of areas and ideas in mathematics and statistics from foundational theory to applied research.

Our faculty receive research funding from a variety of sources, including the National Science Foundation, the Gulf of Mexico Research Initiative, the Simons Foundation, and the Louisiana Board of Regents.
