Our professors and students explore a broad range of areas and ideas in mathematics and statistics from foundational theory to applied research.

Our faculty receive research funding from a variety of sources, including the National Science Foundation (4 current), the Gulf of Mexico Research Initiative (1 current), and the Louisiana Board of Regents (4 current).
