Placement by ALEKS PPL score

Placement into a particular course is permission to take that course. You need to carefully consider your goals as you select your courses. In particular, some majors require specific courses. Thus, you do not want to skip over a required course and, if your major requires a higher level mathematics course, then you need to enroll in courses that will satisfy the prerequisites for that higher level course.

Note: The statement "satisfies the prerequisites for . . ." in the listing below indicates possible subsequent course choices for this line in the list. In most cases a grade of C or better is required.

Note: The listing below shows the highest level course you may register for based on your ALEKS PPL math score. You also have the option of registering for a lower level math course.
